What is FootGolf
FootGolf is a new hybrid sport combining golf and soccer. It is played by kicking a soccer ball on a golf course with the objective of getting the ball into an oversized (21-inch in diameter) hole in the fewest amount of kicks.
Why Play FootGolf
There is no experience or training necessary before playing and it’s fun for the whole family. The objective is to kick a ball, get some exercise, and enjoy a chance to compete against the other players in your group. Players should complete the 18-hole course in about 2 hours. The cost for FootGolf at Keith Hills Golf Club is very affordable – only $12 to walk 18 holes or $20 to ride for 18 holes. Our staff recommends walking the course, not only because of the health benefits, but because the game flows better for all players if each is going directly to their ball.
When Can You Play
You can play anytime after 3 pm Monday through Sunday – tee times are available on the White Course. Players are encouraged to make a tee time online or call the golf shop (910.814.5796) for availability just as golfers make tee times. This allows golfers and footgolfers to play simultaneously throughout the each day!
Do I need a Soccer Ball to Play?
Footgolfers can bring their own balls or be supplied a ball from the Pro Shop for a small rental fee of $3.
I have never played golf, what do you do once you get to the golf course?
Players will check in at the pro shop counter. Our professional staff will greet all players, provide a brief orientation and serve as an escort to the first hole!
